Tooth Ache

Toothache can vary in intensity, ranging from minor discomfort to extreme pain. Maintaining good oral hygiene is important, even if the affected area is sore. Inflammation in the gum or tooth is often the cause of the pain. To alleviate the pain, it is recommended to avoid sweet and sticky foods, limit sugary drinks and treats, and steer clear of very hot or cold foods and drinks. If the pain persists or swelling occurs, contacting/emailing the dental practice is advised. Painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen can be taken if needed, following the instructions is crucial to avoid potential medical problems.
